i liked loads tho, the hip hoppy one was cool, the last one was sort of breaksy/2steppy and really nice. 3 i liked.
surprised just to see one garagey one and one with a more housey/technoey 4/4 beat too.
good stuff.

I forgot the clap sample when making mixdown!! It's a very essential part of the rhythm...

I haven't voted yet, the tunes needs to be listened more...

there seems to be a lot of confusion in the low end of my mix.
i did reference on a shitty system and it sounds fine.
when i listen back through VIRB i get this problem (even though i'm listening back on the same monitors i mixed on)
the original sounds fine too!
i'm confused :?

i did notice yesterday that VIRB only let you upload a max. of 8mb. mine track is close to 10mb.

has my track been put through more compression or something?

I have never had an issue with Virb, and I know nthing about an 8mb cap on uploads

go to my site: www.virb.com/unklefesta

EVERY SINGLE TUNE is more than 8mb with no quality loss

Actually virb does re-compress everything to a variable bit-rate between 80-160kbps. I just downloaded my file and it was under 4MB compared to the original over 12MB.

Perhaps they only do the re-compression if you don't allow the tracks for download? I'm really not sure. Although I know in the past no compression was done, but these are definitely being re-compressed. I downloaded several files and they were all the same variable bitrates.

And the tunes on your page have the same variable bitrate compression festa, so perhaps something they just started doing.

a lot of different flavours are in there. took me quite some time to come to a decision. nevertheless more people should listen and vote!
