Gettin high and drinkin, even gettin all wangchung on the beans is all well and good.. but bass is deffos an addictive drug that only fucks up your hearing.

like with most forms of electronic/dance music, it has a strong tie with drugs. i dont feel that i have to drop to enjoy the music, i love it enough to get into to it straight away. the music itself is a natural high, but undeniably i do love buzzing away on pills

Bullshit, weed and alcohol are very soft drugs. Pills, cocaine, LSD and heroin are Hard drugs and have worse side effects than alcohol and weed combined. Denial is what comes from the people who defend the hard drugs. Your mind will be the one that loses in the future when you feel worthless and have no ambition or joy whatsoever.

you're chatting absolute fraff, to say you can't apply similar negative long-term effects to alcohol or weed is complete bullshit, its not denial its common sense, there is no way you can say they are ok and then in the next sentence say other drugs are wrong in the same sentence with any level of credibility

Was thinking this earlier. They had a Horizon about it recently where they said that smack and coke are the worst in terms of addiction, social damage and death, but ecstacy was way behind alcohol in terms of the damage they caused.

that documentary did me a hell of a lot of favours really, my mum saw it as well and stopped having a go at me about bunning occasionally cos they ranked drinking (which she loves a bit of haha) as worse than it

Don't think any of these used responsibly is necessarily a bad thing (well maybe excepting smack and crack but then there are occassional users of each who can use sensibly). I know I feel considerably worse after a night's drinking than if I'd done pills. And also if you're smoking weed, chances are you'll be smoking it with tobacco anyway, which is far more addictive and harmful than most drugs.
