Right then so for anyone who missed my original thread :

Hello fellas,

My name's Oli and i work for Nu Urban who some of you may of heard of. We do a few dubstep labels at the mo and we have some nice little releases on the way but i would like to see some more as i'm loving it! I've been given the go ahead to put allot more time and effort in to supporting dubstep and with this i had an idea.

How does this sound... You guys choose an old Congo Natty classic you would like to see reworked, then you choose who you would like to see remix it and we will press it and get it out there. Just an idea at the mo but i know some of you old skool jungle heads might be up for that? I need to see what tunes we can use, but we have pretty much free reign with Congo plus i need to see who we can get for remixes.

So if you lot are up for that i will come back to you tomorrow with some sort of poll for the tunes we can work with and the rest will be up to you! Should be a bit of fun! Smile

Here are your choices, we have chosen 5 tunes we have access to the parts for so sozza if your fave aint in here. Not to worry tho cos all these tunes are all massive.

1. Champion DJ listen
2. Wardance listen
3. Original Ses (Police in helicopter) listen
4. His Imperial Majesty listen
5. Tribal Natty listen

All these will load up in Real player and sozza about the quality, but these should just remind you of the tunes.

i have set the poll to run for 7 days so after that we can move on to who you would like the remix to be done by. So just choose the tune for now yea!

original ses. i heard the police in helicopter tune n-type drops, its sick but another take on it would be nice. one with the john holt vocals throughout would be killer. make it happen! although thinking about it, someone could just sample the vinyl anyway and do a remix.

if this was done, id really like to hear a proper straight out of the bedroom congo natty sounding tune.

i really hate like the 2steppy dnb takes on the congo natty bits, well not hate, the Ron mix on champion dj is alright but it loses all soul i think, sounds so sterile. the ray keith remixes of some classic k&w stuff just dont cut it either.

can we just hear some new fresh shit?

congo natty dubstep - official, now that wud be sick
all about having x-amount of big vocal snippets in each tune.
