heh yup did both of these: not good. you end up either leading them on into making them think it you might get back together, or just end up angry with them all the time

rather have better memories, rather then shitty situations...

i dont wanna resent my ex in the long run. Id rather respect their feelings, and both of our best interests.

yeah this was exactly my problem. you end up doing/saying what you think they want which just leads them on and makes them feel worse in the long run, and usually ends up making them hate you

a little tip: Girls will do that when they want to feel victimized, then it makes you look like the bad guy. Girls are manipulative bitches. lol

no you misunderstand i think.
if im telling a lass its over shes gonna be crying and i cant kick her while shes on the floor by telling her shes weak or something. this is why 'its not you its me' is so useful as a blanket statement for that situation.

for the record not many of my ex's hate me except for the one that pretended to be preggers
Recently reborn and relocated to glasgow

Easy peasy.

My best mate is my ex..We was friends before, realised it wasn't working and just went.. "Fuck being a couple, it ain't working" and our friendship has been stronger than ever....

Depends if there is GOOD friendship before hand I think?

this is exactly the situation for me, then again she then moved to Auz and I'm stayed in the UK so i guess that made it easier.

Well, I mean, it depends on their replacement for you, doesn't it? It's kinda funny, my ex's new boyfriend hates me, but she and I are good friends, although it can get weird sometimes.

it's my experience if you were really _more_ than friends during the relationship it is difficult and in some cases unhealthy to remain friends after a breakup. unless you got kids or a business together. if you were never really that into the person in the first place then remaining friends is easy(er). imo.

I'm actually good friends with most of my exes, I try to avoid dramatic fallings-out.

It definitely gets easier with time, so I tend to be closer to ones that I dated long ago...

Ah. If I was in your situation I'd mooch off the filthy rich one under the guise of "friendship", unless he was actually my friend, then I'd still mooch.
