All this talk of beer got me thinking... and drooling, and wishing I was off work already.
I saw one of these in a store by my house for $30. I think Im gonna get one when I get paid next week.
Any homebrewers in here? Tips, recipies, suggestions?

no joke.
She's a doctor and her last name is Beer. Also she can hold her own with the best of us at drinking!

i don't use a Mr. Beer, i use a real homebrew set up. (5 gallon batches, all grain, yadda yadda) it's worth the extra cost and extra time to have complete control of your product. i actually do a quarterly homebrew tasting event in chicago where i have my beer on tap at a bar....but then again i run a homebrew shop, so....

Saw these at Christmas time. Was sooo tempted until I talked to someone who had one.Bad investment was the word.Apparently,it comes out tasting like dog piss mixed with gasoline. He said I'd be best off going to a shop that specialises in home brewing and invest a few hundred for the small vat and quality ingredients.
