first time i went was on my own.

one of the best nights out id had in time, well worth it to try come down.

i cant say goin on your own aint got its negative points, but depending on your night it could work out sick!

luck of the draw init, its a gamble.

why do so many people have a problem with it being held at ministry?

what isit? security? crowd? ppl who run the venue? location and the place itself?

it may be a commercial spot but it has held sum decent raves in its time.

think it's a combination of all the above. that's not speaking from experience though. think the main issue people have though is the kind of crowd it's likely to attract

Ah, MoS is all cool - I think its just been given a bad name cos its commercial...

Its alright venue though sound systems nice... Fair nuff crowd is usually shit but hopefully with a bit of dub we'll have a good crowd.

By the way - i've got my ticket, but a couple of mates were lookin to buy theirs today but ticketweb have stopped selling em.

Anyone selling any? If not do you know how many they hold for the door?

Peace

I've been going to Ministry for about 7yrs now for various nights, old skool, Dnb, house, hard dance, techno etc etc, and the main problem with the place IMO is the crowd it brings.

No matter what night is on there, what type of music, whatever, there will always be tourists. People who go there not for the music, just because they can say they've been to Ministry.

Without making too much of a sweeping generalisation, they're not always local to the UK, and they're usually coked up to the eyeballs. Me and the missus have seem some right fucking casualties being carried out of the VIP room in the last couple of months.

That being said, if the crowd is as tight as the lineup, the atmosphere at Ministry can't be beaten. My only concern is that room 3 (the Babybox) is a little on the small size, given what's likely to be rolling from there most of the night.

well the promotion is RINSE.

and the RINSE vs FWD night i herd was quite succesful, so the promotion can do well.

as the for the PLACE i think you mite get a SMALL group who come who becoz of it bein ministry rather than cos its why not, but i think the majority will be there for the rave, and not jus a random visit to ministry on a friday night

ive herd the main room is huge aswell, so u shud find a dark spot where you can have a lil smoke up without running into a bouncer. unless a bouncer is near or coming into your vicinity it should be find, they got a lot of ppl to watch and a lot to do to be singling you out lol

Apparently they haven't sold out, they're holding some on the door but I think it would be worth getting there before 11 for any chance of getting in.
