I'm still trying to work out which system to buy it on

the 360 is the only one with downloadable content so is winning at the moment :(

Lol.. the thing is.. the DLC will be one player.. so it'll have nothing to do with the online aspect of it.

If you feel your missing out on something, then the 360 version is most definitely you.

But for the veterans.. playing online with a PS3 pad.. FOR FREE.. will be the ultimate win.

All of the above, plus I'm sure the PS3 will get something eventually. Plus if you ever had to sell one of your consoles for whatever reason you noez its gonna be the 360..

Correct sir.. no subscriptions.. no topups.. just out of the box 'ready for online gaming' here.

It's a good time to get a 40GB. I would STILL pick a 40GB over a premium 360

*i used to OWN a 360.. and consequentially sold it as a 'put towards' for my PS.

Gashman thats a good idea actually.. i might just create a new ID for this aswell.

Mainly creating my new ID because 'skanzee' is what I've been called for a good decade, and its getting old! The double 'e' is also waaay too formal, "skanz" is all good and I dont mind it.. might just register Skanz!

i'm also contemplating which system to buy in order to play this. thankfully i wont have to decide for ages coz star wars: force unleashed aint out till september. d/loadable content for the 360 has me tempted. anyway, the online for gtaIV does seem very entertaining, looking forward to the mayhem.

As a 360 owner, I'm a little bit gutted to read about this. How does it work, Von? Will there be loads of crews running round the same city killing each other and nicking stuff?

I'm still deciding to get a PS3 or 360..

If I get this job I applied for..
I can get both so.. fingers crossed!

PS3 has won me over online wise, being a FPS - PC gamer I don't believe in paying monthly to play a game you've bought, leave that for the MMO kids.

Either way, I WILL be playing this on RELEASE round my mates yard(on PS3)!!
