I have tried to put them together so that a certain thread / theme continues from track to track, but tried to keep things diverse (however, there are quite a few dubstep tracks on there, but that’s because my mate has never listened to dubstep and I wanted to expose her to it. I have used Ableton in order to mix the tracks where appropriate. Some are ‘blended’ and some are just fade up fade down jobs – depends on how the tracks fit. I’ve used some Ableton effects where necessary.

A lot of you will know most of the tracks, but there may be a couple you haven’t heard.

It’s not very hi tech, but it was fun to make. I hope you enjoy it.

If you are up for it, please do one yourself and post it in this thread. I bet everyone has diverse tastes and it would be a good way to hear new stuff. The only rule I guess would be not to let any single genre totally dominate the mix/compilation.

edit: cant use itunes to "mix" - doesnt give enough of an overlap and therefore the tracks will be pretty easy to rip out

Definitely going to get on this in a bit, i use ableton for making music, can't really mix on it due to a slightly fucked midi controller, but will have a bash at making a compilation.

This is such a good idea, not sure why more people haven't got on it

Im planning to do a Disco one at the moment. However the 10 mb restrictions may scupper this idea.
