I'm trying to get it sorted at the moment. Problem is with forumspace who host the forum....they are down so in turn the breakstep forum is down....I remember dubstepforum had exactly the same problems when it started and was hosted at forumspace.....I will keep you posted.

Just a quick heads up that the breakstep forum is back online unfortunatly all the old data has been lost for now so you'll need to re-register and fill in artist/label info.

http://www.breakstep.net

Relaunching properly tomorrow so get in 1st.

Ive always been a hard breaks fan. Earlier industrial breaks, dnb, breakcore, etc were the impetus, then general breakstep years back. Dubstep came very shortly after. Its all one in the same.

Here's an old breakstep set that's linked in a weird place. I did it for Kuma' & co's Art of Beatz radioshow in Vancouver, Canada years back, when they first started their show! I just found it linked on this site here, strange. Circa March *BIG EDIT* 2004, done in one take, in a big radio studio, with no mixer, just a big radio board, and the board speaker as monitor!! Guerilla styles. Includes some ambient passes and such from breakcore peeps like Slepcy, Resurrector from Dark Matter Sound System (LA), & an old name from Winnipeg, Canada Jaymez. Peep the last tune.. HARD! *mix is slightly distorted in a couple spots. Distortion can be my thing tho. heh.

Resurrector - Nothing (Dark Matter)
Slepcy - Details (Ambush)
Jaymez - Indescent Nightmare (Gabber.org)
Panacea - Twisted Designz (Position Chrome)
Horse Power Productions - Pimp Flavas (Tempa)
(Unknown)- Acid Trax (White label)
Tokomo - Mary Wana (Dub)
Distortionz - Pleasure Bot (Rat Records)
Dj Zinc - Out of Bou Jungle (Bingo Beats)
Dj Quest - Bad Debt (Cyberfunk)
Backdraft - Stung (Downbeat Productions)
Tokomo - Round Lenses (Dub)
Oris Jay aka Darqwan - Underground (Hardlivin)
Vector Burn - Interlace (Replicant Audio)
Proteus - Samurai (Planet City)

While we're here, can we big up the old www.garagepressure.com site from Australia? They were on to this shit in a BIG way before most. I personally would not have been into this stuff without it.

^^ HAHA.. oh snap. My bad.

Um.. yeah. 2004! Sorry. I'm old, but in the end years don't mean shit huh? heh. Regardless, you can be the first in line to rightfully kick me in the nuts. I won't flinch. ha. Cheers.

 Either way, I hope it rocks the spot. Um.. 10 years difference can seem like a short period of time for us old folk, big up the grey hair massive!
