It was proper fun I must say - reminded me of the old days - felt a little bit like a private party, wicked vibes in there regardless of it only being half as busy!!!

heard a rumour about this and hoped it wasn't true. However, two good things i think:
1 i think there's a closing night which is the original line up who played at the first one. looking forward to it, even if it never happens. live in hope.
2 i hope, without being 'elitist', that it will return it to the vibes when it was on a thursday night, eg only dedicated heads will come down, people who know the tunes and are there to listen rather than for a soundtrack to their pills/have a booze up/check out this night they read about in the metro. That was a bit snobbish wasn't it? oops. still, the thing i liked about plastic people for a long time was that it was a pretty crap venue with a serious sound system, so it felt more like a 'club' as in you knew that everyone there appreciated the music, felt like you was part of smth. as the music's grown in popularity it sometimes seems like the crowd is the same you could get at any new and trendy dance. then again, thats progress. just my two bob's worth...

I'd say it's a good thing.

FWD is always so rammed outside and in that it's stupid tbh. Plus Plastic People is where it should stay, not a bigger less intimate venue. So moving to Sundays means less crowds. And who knows maybe they'll get a Friday thing going at a bigger venue.

sorry but fuck you...
...some people can't enjoy a night out before a serious week starts on Monday

nothing to do with dedicated or not.

imagine Thursday - Platform 1, Friday - 'fwd replacement', Saturday - DMZ, Sunday - FWD. Personally I'd be well up for a bit of the old 9-5 on a monday...
that would be like one of those solar eclipses or smth, once in 14 years when all the planets align

No need to get all Montel about it. I'd assume there would be earlier opening and closing times as a result.

Doesn't make much difference tbh. Still takes time getting home etc..

Plus not being able to let loose at FWD = sad panda.
