Well I'd agree with that, because well PP _IS_ FWD and thus it might as well be on Sunday and we could look for a night elsewhere. What I want to know is what exactly would be the reason FWD would have to move from Fridays? Surely PP couldn't expect to make more money with another night on Friday?

Let me just clarify - i didnt mean that because you got to work a 50 hour week starting at 7am on Monday and therefore can't really go raving the night before means your not dedicated. i know theres people up north and further afield who never been to fwd in their lives but they still know and appreciate the music. what i mean was that it will help to filter out the out-drinking-from-work crew, who just want a licensed bar to keep going, although to be fair winston does often take care of that.
my point was that if it was on a sunday night you would only go because you know whats involved and u know its good. 'tourists' and trouble makers are less likely to reach on a sunday. therefore anytime that you can go, you're more likely to enjoy cos, touch wood, the crowd will be more appreciative, better atmosphere, space to skank, friendlier faces etc. maybe dedicated was the wrong word to use. aaaaanyway....

I doubt it's got any to do with that tbh, or that was PP's desicion either.

Lets face it FWD could be seriously rolling in it if it moved to a venue that could supply the demand it gets on a Friday night. You gotta respect the fact that they've still got their feet on the ground and realise the importance of FWD's vibe and intimacy.

Just means the lineups will get better. Less people play out on Sundays, less chance of clashing. That's what I reckon to it anyway.

Allow talking about the crowd and even questioning whether it's a factor. Stop watching people and enjoy the music. The crowd is obviously gonna change, but I don't really think the vibe will.

FWD>> is a big brand, I'm sure they've got something in the pipe-line for everyone, Sarah and them lot ain't idiots.

when i heard about this i thought it could only be a good thing.

remove the shoreditch friday night waste element.

more djs available to play

and yes, without being elitist or having no regard to those who need their beauty sleep, it will attract the more dedicated crowd.

(but i say that as someone who can easily go to bed at 3 am on a monday morning and get up feeling fresh enough for work)

it will remove the 'on the lash' vibe as well which i think is great

and it will hopefully encourage a move back to listening over going nuts and comfortable skanking rather than getting stepped on.

I think this is a real good initiative and love little get togethers on Sundays...shoreditch is rather dead on Sundays as well, especially in contrast to the bussle and drunken swagger of Fridays.
I will be one of the working crowd on the Monday but only ever have a few drinks/smokes at FWD anyway, and don't think its the right atmosphere or vibe for all the harder stuff anyway- save that for ministry, the end etc.....finally the toilet will be suitable for capacity again
I wonder if anything will be planned for Fridays? I'd prefer not as there is a wealth of other clubnights and interesting scenes in the capital which happen on Friday evenings- variety the spice of life

He isn't even a man, he's a dog.

Funny what a coat and a pair of glasses can do for you, if you're a dog.
