marty, turns out your right, no point in rushing through something. at least this has given me a starting point, but i can see it's going to take a lot longer than i anticipated, well, if i want to sound half decent anyway lol

i would be interested to see how long each person has worked on theirs once the entries are in, not much way of telling though really

wow....all i got is my kick drum, i like to take ages on drums thou like hours and hours

spent 30 mins on the kick

actually the compilation of this samplepack was a quickshot, ripping some stuff from old cds and several samplepacks on the net...

good to see more and more people participating! looking forward to hear the final results but take your time, deadline is 5th of may. so nuff time left

The moloko vocal is awesome been after it for a while. Not keen on the other samples, Bit of a cliqche, skank piano/guitar, the ragga vocals, the 808. Is this a best generic dubstep cut and paste competition?

well, you're allowed to modify and use it however you want and i've never said you should use it in a cliché way. actually that's the point of a competition like this, isn't it?

EDIT: i also think that there's something inside for everyone. so take it easy and come up with some creativity.

i was on point on that one. while i was checking how many downloads there have been already the counter was straight at 138

also there will be less tunes to upload
