World Cup Thread

Post by spaceboy » Fri Jun 09, 2006 10:33 am

Y'all excited then?

Come on - lets get a thread going...

"who you rooting for, who is good, who will win,"

"who is shit, why was he a chief, i'm gutted my team lost."

it all begins here:

England are clearly winning. I would be happy if it didn't mean the ubiquitous pics of Beckham lifting the trophy being stuffed down our throats for the next 40 years.

Saw a car the other day parked up near Charing Cross. Was completely plastered in world cup paraphernalia from bumper to bumper... England flags hanging out of every orifice. Was totally gross, but the wheelclamp made me laugh some. Wish I'd got a photo.

Safe bet - Brazil are the team to beat (obvious choice). Reckon Argentina too. Spain will do nothing as usual - dunno about England - could be short of fire power upfront
