I've heard that Break (the dnb producer) still uses Logic 5.5 on the PC as well.

hahahahahahahahahahahahhaha

i seriously recommend episode 15 from series 6 of south park. it's not the one with that quote but it's equally funny. chef's parents FTW
100% classic!

You seen the one where they bring chef back n he's a pedo... Not so funny! But it is still!

I wonder if painters argue about "what is the best brand of canvas to use"

it's all about what you do with it the tools you have
I know it was a joke, but to answer you yeah :P studying art & design for over a year = many arguments over why this spray paint was better than that one, this sketchbook has better paper than that one, so I should use it etc etc.

TEC-HO wrote:Interesting! Is he using parallels then? Surely that’s the only way of getting Logic and Fruity to work on the same machine?

I like the fact that he is one of my favorite producers, and he’s still effectively just a bedroom producer. I personally will always use hardware as well as software to produce my shit, but it’s nice to see people getting absolutely blinding results with only software. Wonder what soundcard he uses?

the second part seems like it ends too soon.

is that that there a third part? or is that the whole video?
Yeah, is there a part 3?
Sound card he uses is The M-Audio Audiophile 2496.

Hey all

just noticed from watching this he's rocking 2x Apple cinema displays, i'd say a macpro tower running parallels is the setup he's using, when the camera moves over to the left screen and shows the logic mixer it looks like its logic 7 (mac only)

just my 2 cents

You can run any Mac OS on Virtual PC if you want to use logic btw.
Don’t worry about people stealing an idea. If it’s original, you will have to ram it down their throats.

Yeah, watched this other week.

I was suprised that I build tracks pretty much the same way (spectrasonics trilogy for sub, mix the track as you build it rather than after the arrangement, pan to one speaker to mix the top end, etc.).

Top stuff :D

Does anyone know where i could get a copy of this video or does anyone have a copy they could share?

I was after it for educational purposes for a friend to show his music class.

This. I basically hate anything with that "brutal electro" sound; it sounds all like HUGLAGHALGHALGHAL
