Bitesize Beats has been creating mixes for a number of years now, and has seen radio play from a variety of respected mix shows, such as ninja tune's solid steel, the rinse on Xfm, and back to the basics (BTTB) in Germany. he comes very much from the cut + paste school of digital dj-ing, creating all mixes entirely in ableton live. never content to stick to a single style, previous bitesize beats mixes have taken in alt hip-hop, dubstep, electronica, ambient, soul, downtempo etc - often in the space of a single mix. ableton is used as a tool to cut up, re-arrange, re-edit and layer tracks to take them into new directions - vocal tracks blended with instrumentals, live tracks layered with electronics. the result is a smoothly blended journey of a mix, weaving together different genres and flowing seamlessly between tunes from start to finish.
