bad form prismatic

promoters were approached in melbs on a number of occassions
even so when kode & lomabrdo toured a few years ago
the bottom line is there is little interest from promoters down your way
then they're fucking dickheads. How's that my fault?

There's plenty of people here who'd be into a Storming show, the fans here would have pushed it. Perhaps enlisting the active Melbourne folks on this forum could have done it? I don't know. There was certainly no communication to the fans here that it was even a possibility which seems an oversight given the general positivity and effort put in by all the dubsteppers here in a number of big projects - the Pressing Issues label, for example.

I'm not a promoter, nor a dj, just a very interested party. but while i may not be worded up on the scene i certainly offered my services - in a post in this thread on May 9
Hmmm.... :!:

It's IMPOSSIBLE to throw a dubstep party in Melbourne right now.
You can promo as much as you like, no one knows Quiet Storm.
No ones knowns dubstep. Will play to an empty room sadly.

dickheads? hehe nar mate everyone offered this is alright, believe.
