Ivy pops it's Triptych cherry, armed to the teeth with sonic artillery and electronic battle weapons. We have the very best in international electronics from two hotly tipped and wonderfully unique producers as well as the cream of the Scottish DJ scene laying the wax for your heads and feet…

Bass Clef

One of the most original and unique of the current surge of dubstep artists, the Bass Clef sound is one that fuses the musical undercurrents of Bristol and East London into the heavy, sparse, dubbed-out plates of bass and drum beloved of both scenes. The debut 12" on Blank Tapes, 'Hackney Centralist' was snapped up in a flash and follow ups ‘Cannot Be Straightened’ and his ‘Zamyatin Tapes’ series have continued to blaze a trail like few before him. His album, 'A Smile is a Curve that Straightens Most Things' grabbed ears well beyond the dubstep scene taking the blueprint out of it’s generic walls and allowing it to breathe.

Mweslee

January 2006 saw the release of his first 12”, ‘Megaplast EP’ on Dutch label Kindred Spirits. This went on to become a scene defining record and included MwesLee in the ranks of Prefuse 73, SA-RA or Dabrye. Recently his underground anthem ‘Un Joder Suave’ featured on Rush Hour’s critically acclaimed compilation “Beat Dimensions” furthering his reputation. MwesLee has performed his live show at seminal events such as Sonar and Amsterdam Dance Festival. Far removed from the typical laptop sets performed by many of his peers, his free form performances have led to his status being raised to one of the most interesting electronic acts performing today

DJ A’La Fu

A'La Fu has performed, recorded and released material since '96 and rocked shows worldwide for just as long. More recently A'la Fu has worked with the Big Dada and Ninja Tune record labels, remixing the likes of Coldcut and Saul Williams as well as recording for the Big Dada compilation ‘Extra Yard'. A frankly superb club DJ, he is someone who is near unrivalled in terms of musical diversity and technical ability. A’La Fu has tirelessly championed and promoted Big Dada’s releases through his radio show and mix cds, so when he heard of the 10th anniversary celebrations Kenny put together a lovingly-crafted, utterly blazing two hour mix of the the label's output, running in chronological order from 1997's "Misanthropic" right up to the present day. Released as a special edition double CD at the end of 2007, it recognised the diversity and forward thinking nature of both Big Dada and one of the best DJs there is.

Hudson Mohawke

Hudson Mohawke was first brought to everyone’s attention when he dropped the Herald’s Of Change ‘Show You’ 12” on All City Records. Continuing to butter us all up with some of the freshest and finest off kilter hip hop since Dilla, Heralds Of Change brought more heat with a series of releases on All City, each selling faster than the last and each garnering more and more praise from all quarters.

Hudson Mohawke’s solo productions have pricked the ears of LA’s Ubiquity label, Holland’s Rush Hour and London’s Werk Discs – all of which have been quick to enlist his remarkable remix capabilities. A forthcoming album on world renowned Warp Records, are sure to keep his star in the ascendancy.

Boom Monk Ben

A prominent figure in Glasgow's close knit clubbing scene, recently Ben has caught the attention of clubs nationwide and further with appearances in Paris, Moscow, Gothenburg, Copenhagen, London, Belfast, Bristol, Edinburgh and Bestival 2007. The mighty Ninja Tune have been impressed enough to approach Ben to provide a series of 'Boom Monk Zen' mixes for their world famous Solid Steel radio show, which is broadcast in 30 countries world wide. Ben has consistently been voted in Ninja Tune’s ‘Top 3 DJs of the Year Poll’ and continues to be one of the most played and popular DJs on Solid Steel’s airwaves.
