TO THE PISS TAKERS

Post by deapoh » Wed Jun 14, 2006 2:22 pm

1. Don't message me about recording shows if your not going to have the slightest of respect to say please and thank you.

2. Don't message me to hurry up and get audio onto Barefiles especially when you're rude about it.

3. Don't message me complaining that your set wasn't recorded or uploaded to Barefiles.

The people who have respect, asking politely to record or not asking at all will be treated in the same way with respect and I'll do them favours. But if you try a sly one telling me when your show is dropping hints to record, I won't do it simple as that. Your not paying me to record, no ones paying me, I'm losing money from the internet connection, Barefiles and my free time so don't come back to me saying that it's my job or I'm being lazy by not doing it.

If you send me a link to your set and leave it at that, I will most definately NOT upload it to Barefiles.

Thanks to the majority who are polite and to those who are blatently rude and don't have no respect you can go f yourself cos I'm done with you. You know who you are, either sort it out or you can forget about asking me for any favours.

I think the same should apply to Boomnoise, he's recording in his free time and I have much respect for this, so much that we argue every MSN convo about it.

Still, if Boomnoise misses recording so what? Compared to how much everyone has recorded put together, no one can touch this man. So props to you.

ANYONE that provides something like this is NOT a service lol

How any lazy mo fo's can rely on other ppl to record their shows is lame but to be rude about it is bang outta order.

Bigup Deapoh & Boomnoise for what they do out of their own time for the love of Dubstep

Me and Depoh are probably going to work on a schedule of the shows that get recorded.

None of this has really been a problem for me but Deapoh's been inundated with often impolite requests. Not on.

As far as people complaining about me missing recording shows. No one's really had a go as far as i know. I haven't missed many but if i do it's usually for a very good reason. Like being in the pub.

Respect Deapoh.

Sorry to everyone, I'm not looking for respect from this, I just don't want the impoliteness and I had to get it off my chest.

Just a thought guys but maybe you could use .bat script and automate this, then you wouldnt have to be around to record shows, just schedule a task using windows...

Might save you a bit of grief.

I cannot believe anyone would have the front to criticise either Deaps or Boomnoise over recording.

Why don't the complainers set up their own hosting site if they are that bothered, but I assume they rather leach of the dedicated souljahs rather than put themselves up.

Guys (Deaps, Boomnoise), you know you have the respect of the vast majority of the Forumheads and the producers/djs out their so don't let the bastards grind you down.

If you need some technical help or advice don't hesitate to PM and I'll see if I can be of service.

Actually I have a very sophitcated system set up already ;) Remote access of my pc via my pda and everything.

Problems arise when i'm not back home when i plan to be. Improptu post work pints is the main reason for this. A few wires need to be switched on my mixer / soundcard to record. So if i haven't done that in the morning then i'm screwed but usually Deapoh can fill in if i drop him a line.

I can't actually remember the last show we've missed. The deapnoise combo work things out. Military operation! Well perhaps if i wasn't a borderline alcoholic.
