the thing about roller skating is that you have to sort of re-center your equilibrium in order to not fall on ur ass
edit : i just got back from roller skating and it was a bit odd. it's the middle of the day and hot, humid, and murky outside. but the streets are kind of empty. i encountered an old man and his beagle. the beagle had shakey legs and 3 visible tumors and the man could barely keep his grip on the leash. they were both very friendly. but i felt smooth and zippy rolling around them in my skates with my 7 lb chihuahua. and for no apparent reason i decided to pick up this rare specimen (whatever it is)

yeah bluke- i get to go boarding everyday after work on local floodlit slopes and whistler is only a couple hrs away! Thinking to go for about a year or so (get to see the winter olympics too then) and then i'll be back... you can't get rid of me that easily...dubluke wrote:you're moving away!!??!?!!
