o shit i had never heard of that but sydney lumet is one of the all time greats

i just watched powder again for the first time since it was new. still liked it a lot.

what an amazing film. i really fell in love with the cinematography. to me, it was this absurd social commentary reminiscent of hanake, but definitely in a more comedic veign.

just watched a couple i had seen before

dawn of the dead (newer version) and the descent. both good movies.

this movie is dope. like memento, its a modern take on film noir with a disjointed/fractured timeline. yeah mad depressing though

Those are some "forbidden" boobs. I don't remember her in Factotum, that movie was letdown mostly.

i really like the way it was put together but still, kind of a nutso film.

really liked it. big stupid grin the whole time. its about gymnastics but its really about kung-fu. its like a stephen chow movie spreading the gospel of kung-fu. except its not a comedy, its a melodrama. its like karate kid for grown-ups. nick nolte is an amazing miyagi. its on some sun tsu/tao te ching type ish.

i didn't really enjoy funny games..it didn't seem to have a lot of point to it, and it is not an enjoyable watch with no redemptive qualities and no reason for the violence and acts the pair undertake.

Hidden on the other hand is a fantastic film, and I have heard good things about the Piano Teacher.

it's basically a frame for frame remake from what I've heard.

Maybe I missed something that you saw, but I don't fancy rewatching it to see.
