Forensics - Royal Mail Are A Bunch Of Bloody Cockmunchers

Post by gravious » Sat Nov 19, 2005 8:56 pm

Look left!
Forensics - thats what your cd looked like when it dropped thru the mailbox this morning! Its not just snapped, its totally fucked! Looks like it been run over by a steam roller. If you've ever tried snapping a cd, it aint easy. Either this has had a hefty weight dropped on it, or its been tampered with.

What kind knucle-dragging pituary retards are the RM employing that would enjoy pissing up peoples mail so badly.
I've a good mind to write to my MP...

Rant over.

Anyways, am downloading tunes from your earlier post, so all is well!

about 3 years of buying shit loads of vinyl off the web with absolutely no probs.
Then last month £40 worth of records doesnt show up.

I'm pretty pissed off with them at the moment, but I guess the economics works out in the long run...

yeah my postman back in london used to do that for me, the ones in bristol recently have been terrible though, it took almost a week for an order of one record to get about 3 miles from chemical records to my house.

My posty is dead cool - actually came back at 11 on Saturday to deliver some vinyl as I didn't make it to the door when he knocked at 8:00.

Sweetening me up for a fat tip at Xmas...

Totally agree.. my postman turns up when he feels like it...

Best one happened last week...

Waiting in for a boomkat order and didn't hear the door, so the postie left a Slip saying to collect it from the depo.. i had to wait like 4 hours before i could go and pick it up.. get down there and it takes them 20 mins to come and tell me they cannot find it... this was like friday... Saturday comes and they phone to say it had been signed back in but lost in the fucking depo... How? anyway monday comes and i'm like where are my records.. Still no sign.. then monday noon comes and they call to say they've found it and was left outside... nice one Royal Mail !!!

I at least got my parcel and thankfully it was still intact....

Yeah, If you have a good postie its not so bad. Its the organisation thats buggered. My old postie used to leave packages behind our storm doors if we weren't in, which was sweet, as the depot was about 3 miles away (for some reason!).

My postie now sometimes doesn't even ring the bell, he just sticks a slip thru the door. I reckon he can't be arsed carrying bags full of records around!

One lot of records from BM took over a month! I'd given up on them and reordered by then, so I've got 2 copies of Officer by Coki, and Prophecy by Reza if anyone wants one...

By the way, Forensics, your CD is mash-up! literally...

no matters where you are, shit happens. in hungary i`ve been getting all records in the past 5 years. i had a postman who was upset after a year that i dont give him extra money for such an extra weight package... heh. it`s his job, dammit. later we moved and i got an excellent postman. he was vinyl addict too so he cared of packs very much :D
i also know a dj who had a lot of sendings from abroad. once he found his package of some vinyls shrinked and bent 1/3 to be compatible with his smaller post box (for normal letters)... strong postman he got. what can u do when your postman fucks up/lose your sendings? get him fired? the revenge will be delivered for sure.

i got mine today, safe and in one piece - thanks!

didn't even see my postman til now, and i live here since a year! but the stuff gets always to me or my neighbor takes it for me. she's an 85 years old lady and cool as fuck (that means she wouldn't be offended reading that)!

My CD arrived pretty quickly, wrapped in a couple pieces of paper. All the way to Canada without a single scratch on the disc, or for that matter, even a folded corner on the envelope.

Possibly...although every singled time I order from Uptown, the jewel cases end up cracked. This last time was the worst...my Kano was shattered. At least the disc is OK.

I think it is the customs people that are the rough ones, and not the posties.

Bloody postal service

I've had a few from krys Forensics that have been destroyed on arrival. Quite weird really, there was a little phase for about a month when nearly everything he sent me was destroyed (well over 5 cd's). Touch wood, all his cd's have arrived safe & sound for the last few months though

Only just noticed this thread, doh! Gravious - can send you another CD
if you like? Glad other people's seemed to have got there, although you
weren't the only one with problems - Boomnoise's didn't get there at all!
