ye, like it or not that's one thing that will never make it's way onto wii. i'm pretty sure i'm gonna know all the people i'm brawling with online so i'll just use up my months minutes phoning them and smack talking them old skool. on da fone bitchez!!
on a slightly unrelated note, my mate attacked me the other week on his first night drinking after 4 months sobre (i tried to calm him down and make him pay the monies he owed) so for my troubles/scars he bought me this in apology:

Anyone into basketball games? Always loved em, since the NBA Jam Megadrive days..

Also, can anyone tell me..
Got like £150 in HMV gift vouchers that I've had since around xmas, returned a couple things and they wouldn't give me the cash back.. meh.. anyway, thinking of buying a Wii because I need some Mario and Zelda in my life. But I'm not a fan of the whole motion sensor malarky, I wana be able to sit in bed and chill not fucking work myself out.
Can you play Mario, Zelda, Mario Kart etc with a regular pad and not this nunchuck business?

If I can't play Mario and Zelda using a regular pad then it's a dealbreaker methinks. (I can always get Zelda on the Cube..)datura wrote:mario kart is playable without the wii remote and nunchuk, as far i know the others you mentioned aren't.

zelda is just as playable on cube tho i have to go with the wii version personally. loves me the bow&arrow aiming/fishing too much.
mario is the most un-intrusive use of wii mote waggle, seriously old school gaming all the way.
like with mario kart, smash*cough*somethingsomething*cough* is playable without the wii mote.

The wii mote is a bit of a novelty but as Sinc says in the best games it is incorporated well and is intuitive and not at all gimmicky.
I play from the sofa and there are no issues witht the senisitivity, you don't need to be jumping round the room or owt.
As good as GTA IV is, so far Mario Galaxy (pre that game that Sinc can't seem to remember the name of
) is the best game I've played this year, and one of the most innovative.

Check this baby out, called 'Mirrors Edge'. If they can pull this off and make it as fun and playable as it looks it will be a breakthrough game, though unplayable for those susceptible to motion sickness. All about the colour scheme, non-greys/browns ftw. The music for the trailer is also hot shit. Wants.

@ von - have you tired Haze yet? I got bored of waiting last night, might let it run this afternoon with Condemned 2 when hopefully the network is a bit quicker.

street fighter II turbo HD remix
street fighter IV
ghostbusters
