Those guys were from near my old stomping grounds!Used to see them all the time when they were just "a local band".I still have local music zines with all kinds of interviews with them.

Queens are good too,but Kyuss was just a bit better in my opinion.

Prolly not as much as you then but they were my favorite band back in the day. I saw them a couple times in concert. Blues For The Red Sun is still my fav. I think that was the closest they came to capturing their sound on tape. Bad menz. Good 90's

I was late to pick up on the Dubstep - the term kept popping up on my D+B online shop and I thought it was just a "jungle style" revival type thing until I listened. It was everything good about D+B but pitched down..I loved it immediatly - I was commuting to work from Philly everday and the drive was too chaotic for supersonic amens non-stop - so the pace was a perfect change for me.

I haven't been deep on any scene recently, as I have been caught up with serious work/prison.

The net is keeping me vaguely connected..

Well, I was born in 1990 so I only got into Stone Roses when I was like.. 7-8?

So for me, they're 90s

I'm not that educated on what went on for those 10 years but I enjoyed it! I was young and innocent, life was good.

Good times indeed.Every generation gets thier time to grow and thier time to experience.The 80's was my growing period,but the late 80's through the 90s(and early 2000s)I was old enough and could actually afford to see the hundreds of shows I've seen,go the places I wanted and had no fear in doing so!Gettin' wasted,tryin' drugs....all the good things in life...
