People that have impressed me, and really moved my notion of, what dubstep is, and can be, are:

Kode9 (both as labelman and producer)
Darkstar (the vocal stuff is fantastic. Super minimal and sterile, yet touching. Like a Commodore 64 crying for help)
Zomby
Marlow
Quatra330
Ikonika

...but i could more or less add every name that you have mentioned allready. the amount of good stuff is amazing, even though there might be alot of crap.

So many really great artists pushing sound in so many ways that i appreciate, but these are my absolute favourites Peverelist, silkie, kode9, Geiom, mala, Martyn and TRG. Absolute percy at the mo (even though it is a tad old) peverelist - roll with the punches, seriously, i thought nothing could top heartbroken remix for me. :D

dubstep.fm
subfm.com
streamizm.com
rinse.fm
gourmetbeats.com
reload-radio.com
react.fm
bbc radio1

it would be pretty rough with no dubstep internet radio. online radio stations are one of the biggest tools for pushing the sound.

bigup for all those involved in streaming dubstep over the digital airwaves!!

for me, simply for diversity, and for not giving a fuck about "top10" rinse out tunes:

anything on Combat Recordings. Labels like that rule ok?

ditto for Terminal Dusk and Ruff Records. You might see my angle now huh? heh.
