It depends where you go..cafe nero is usally pretty strong anyway, places like starbucks are just coffee flavoured milk and require at least 2/3 extra shots.
cafe nero as standard... and yes i order 2/3 extra shots there...
The guy at the counter has given up asking me if I'm sure that's what i want. A couple of times as a joke, he's thrown a couple extra in - that gets a bit much to be honest as I sat jiggling in my chair trying to focus on the screen with fingers in hyperdrive on the keyboard... funny though

At least he often gives me free coffee over and above the loyalty ones on account of the entertainment value :D
'jiggling' lol

I have cut down the amount of coffee I drink, particularly in the evening as it can really disrupt my sleep. and the coffee shakes are quite bad sometimes!

They do, but most of it is used for instant coffee or low quality ground. Since Vietnam started exporting coffee so heavily the price of coffee fell from US$3.00/lb in 2001 to US$0.43/lb in 2001. It's starting to go back up now though due some international agreements on pricing and quality.

I spent the weekend in Florence, I'd forgotten that coffee could taste so fucking good!

Free instant coffee at work not so good. 3 spoons coffee and 3 sugars just to get it to do anything worthwhile at all. If it had a name Terry Shitcakes would be it
Hmm....

They grow Coffee Beans in Sweden??? Surely not.
Is it not the same as Twinnings selling English Tea or Yorkshire Tea?
We obviously don't grow Tea in England but we have an English blend (which is Crap)

that's exactly what i said to the boss when he told me.... but apparently it is swedish, they definitely ship it from sweden and it certainly tastes really good (i spooned a couple kilos, so will check my made-up swedish translation and see if i can work out where the beans are from when i get home)....

and it is a badass...pack the wee swine and bubble it through slowly and you get a lovely thick mud :D
Yeah, when I was an undergrad I used to have a teacupful of the output of one of those every morning. I didn't realize at the time that it was actually esspresso strength which probably explains why I normally got nauseous about half way to lectures.

Then I really stepped it up before finals and started making big cups of turkish coffee.

Have cut down since then, thank god, generally have a cup or two of decent strong french press coffee a day, not as many palpitations.

All about the coffee man on Cambridge market as a source of beans, he lives surrounded by ludicrous amounts of caffeine yet is the calmest and most placid man I've ever encountered, I think it's some kind of zen thing. Plus he used to grade his blends 'mild', 'medium', 'strong' and 'good and strong'.

this is true.

I miss smoking when I have a cup of coffee

I don't miss it when:

I am doing exercise
When I have a cold
When I release my clothes don't hum
When I check my bank balance
When I don't cough up lumps of shit
