SKREAM & DIGITAL MYSTIKZ HEADLINE @ APE - SUNDAY MAY 4TH
SKREAM & DIGITAL MYSTIKZ HEADLINE @ APE - SUNDAY MAY 4TH
On Sunday May the 4th APE returns to the Warehouse Project for another 2000 strong rave with 2 of the biggest names in Dubstep set to headline!!
SKREAM and DIGITAL MYSTIKZ are set to headline at the Warehouse Project on Sunday May the 4th at the well renowned APE night!!!!
APE has been running for 3 years now and has gone from strength to strength gaining critical acclaim along the way. Most recently we have been asked to run the D'n'B/Dubstep/Hiphop tent at Creamfields this year so we look fwd to seeing some of you down there.
It is only in the past year we have really started to push the Dubstep sound and we look fwd to seeing more of you guys at our events in the future. We have taken on a new resident this year some of you should be familiar with, in the shape of Ken Evil of Bass Camp. APE has always had D'n'B as a spine but tries to push anything leftfield of that from Reggae to Breaks, to Dubstep and Hiphop if it's got a breakbeat or a Bass line we'll play it!!!
Other artists set to appear on this night inlude DJ YODA, RONI SIZE and ANDY C. But for you guys it will all be about SKREAM AND DIGITAL MYSTIKZ playing on the legendary Function 1 soundsystem to 2000 people in an old air raid shelter over the bank holiday weekend!!!!
TICKETS ARE NOW ON SALE ONLINE (www.ticketline.co.uk) on 0161-832-1111 or in the usual outlets
For more info go to

Re: SKREAM & DIGITAL MYSTIKZ HEADLINE @ APE - SUNDAY MAY
That weekend is too much.
Saturday is dillinga/sub focus/scratch perverts/skream on valve in sheffield where I have a friend going. Sunday is this in manch which looks massive but also the detonate night in nottingham (http://www.dubstepforum.com/viewtopic.p ... t=detonate) which I have mates going to, and it ALSO has andy c /skream/roni size/digital mystikz, but with the addition of benga/pinch and a million other ridiculous heads.
Too much.

Massive night, so glad I went this and not detonate.
Skream killed it, really good set with lots of fresh tracks alongside the usual bangers, sick to see 2000 people loving an hour of solid dubstep. Probably topped his set at Why Not for me.
Props to Ken Evil who also smacked it, didn't know he'd be playing so that was a nice surprise (that was him, wasn't it?!). That extra injection of dubstep made up for missing digital mystikz who played at 9.30, which was pretty annoying. Also big up rich reason, cool to see him play such a high-profile slot, he's a top dj. Yoda was ridiculous, spent more time standing watching open-mouthed in awe rather than dancing (wiley wearing my rolex with skitz video montage of heather mills, so fucked up. also the crazy dnb mashup of simpsons theme and video was nuts). Andy c and Roni sent the place completely mental as expected.
All in all a great night, really good vibes, good sound, top quality dj-ing the whole night, and no trouble as far as i could see.
And I seriously need audio of that Chase and Status indian-sounding tune, got dropped twice and it is just TOO heavy.

Shitty audio of the track I'm talking about here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2QPMrGpjUiE. You just catch the drop in the last 8 seconds, mental stuff. Heard it quite a few times now but only at clubs, it's yet to turn up on the net or anything.jgrum wrote:Would that be the Dubstep tune andy dropped mid set by any chance?boyd wrote:

It was being requested last stella sessions but skream said he couldn't play it on the radio yet.
