sorry to hear that...

one measure you could take is

give a slightly different version to each different person - ie one hat in a different place

then you can see who's been leaking it

bit long though..

That is not good at all, someone is taking the piss.
Hope you can find the knob that is spoilling your hard work.

Year thats well out of order. Bit of a shame there are people on here you thought you could trust and as it is thiar bloody turncoats. Personly, I would'nt mind if who ever did it asked me first as it's all good exposure, but without permission it'd just be fuckin rude man. I surpose if the person is that way inclined, they are going to find a way to do it regardless of what you do or say. What are going to do if you do find out who it is anyway? All you can do is not give them any more of your tracks. You could find out where they live and comimit a bit of arson, but its not really worth it at the end of the day.
Twats, fuck em. :o

Sorry to hear that bro.

I don't understand why anyone would want to pass tunes around on the net that are unreleased and given to them by the producer.

Why would you want others to have exclusive bits that you got from the source?

puzzling.

This makes sense. I reckon maybe people copy it just for their mates to hear then their mates pass it on etc.... Sounds counterproductive if you've got an exclusive!

Yea, you gotta hold them tracks close to you chest. Its big that producers are all giving us tracks to play out, I dont want some stupid fuck ruining it.

Fuck, that´s a shame, Zomby. I´ve started to wonder a bit about this issue, and not really sure what to do about it. It´s definately not an option to make different versions (no diss, Ramadan) - it will take way to long. I can´t really see what options are available. Digital media can (and will?) always be able to be copied one way or the other.

i'm not sure that my thing would take that long - i think i in fact read it from plastician back in the RWD days

basically just say add in a new hat fill once - something you'd easily be able to identify

then just bouce as before.

rename each file with the DJs name so you remember

i suppose it partly depends on how many people you give it to.
