Article featured in a local birmingham paper "The Night Times" which mainly focus' on birminghams nightlife and music/fashion etc.
I mean birmingham has only just recently started having some regular nights but its cause there was no one willing to push it and potentially lose money! Until the last 6-9 months or so anyway........ And thank you someone has finally chosen to take the risk imo.
Comments?

Nothing like a bit of good old-fashioned flame-baiting.

I have been told we can write a reply by one of the chaps who runs the paper and he might publish it, just dont know where to start. I have the tendency to waffle.

Only good thing about Birmingham is the Cadbury's Chocolate Factory and even that school trip was a load of wank.
Where did you find the article? I doubt they can print language like that...

The best thing that can be said about that article is that you can almost see the writer frothing at the mouth as he bashes the keyboard keys one by one in true rant-frenzy.
Other than that, it's a bag of bollocks innit?

Yes they have..... This is just a screen print from an electronic version that was sent to a friend. School trip said it all btw

Thats some hating right there.
I'm curious about the part about the "wonders of the jungle/drum and bass scene" I have listened to dnb for like 15 years... I guess I still haven't discovered the wonders. Maybe I should keep listening to it? Nah.

Unidimensional and not very constructive.
There is nothing in this " article " to justify the views expressed... Where is the meat ?
Not a single word on construction, " inter-generic playfulness ", the different aesthetics or approaches ( use of silence as an instrument, minimalism, maximalism, etc. ) at work in this genre... what we have here is a poorly-written rant disguised as a critique. The writer's obvious ignorance culminates in dogmatic, adjective-driven propositions.

whoever wrote that sounds like a total wanker ,im glad they dont like it . oh and it seems to me that alot of the hate is coming from defensive dnb heads that have just realize there sounds is being left in the dust

haha...I can just see all the vacant, pilled out, brummie, camo and adidas wearing, urban mulleted fools nodding their heads in desperation to the car alarm going off thinking its the next caspa and rusko banger being championed at FWD
