Fresh (well, as fresh as three hours sleep allows) from a stirring (well, meaning lots of coffee drinking) performance at Birmingham's SuperSonic festival, DJ Veil comes bearing the weight of a thousand ungainly but reassuringly warm and fuzzy tunes, all eagerly bursting to be plucked from the briefcase for your appreciative petting.

There will certainly be brand new lp tracks from these three:
The Owl Service - Smile Down Upon Us - St. Just Vigilanties

There will no doubt be tracks from:
Wolfgang Voight's GAS project - Martyn - Static - Deaf Center - Pinch - EAR - Pendle Coven - Coki

There will quite likely be tracks from:
Dennis Wilson's Pacific Ocean Blue - Springintgut

It's very unlikely there will be tracks from:
Mordant Music's Darkside of The Autobahn which has been in the briefcase since I dropped it in there and it has since refused to come out on the grounds that it's a much safer bet to remain indoors than risk being spun around unmercifully at 45 revolutions per minute for 3 and a half minutes like the last time it ventured down to the Co-Op and was jostled by members of the local junior lodge of asbonic masons.

There will definitely not be tracks from:
any sources that in any way approximate the sound of a phalanx of nervous, mumbling librarians in a correction-fluid factory

It's on www.10Radio.org and 105.3FM tonight (Sunday 13th June) at 10pm until midnight (or as late as I can manage)

Cordially yours,
DJ Veil

Evening all...a message from beyond the Veil...sparks from the Electric Briefcase shall be showering upon the Ten Parishes and beyond tonight at exactly 10pm until midnight. Here's what the circuit looks like:

There will certainly be brand new tracks from these lot:
Joker - The Remote Viewer - The Owl Service

There will no doubt be tracks from:
Shackleton - Dark Day - Wolfgang Voight's GAS project - Martyn - Michael Garrick's Kronos

There will quite likely be tracks from:
Disc A Dawn (Welsh folk from the BBC) - Springintgut - Threnody

It's very unlikely there will be tracks from:
Low Down King Arable - I'm not saying there won't be, just unlikely. I mean there could conceivably be some, but I wouldn't place any bets that's all I'm suggesting lame nags being unpredictable and all.

There will definitely not be tracks from:

any sources that in any way approximate the ginger sound of the Tamworth Two trotting into a high street bank and demanding a new venture business account and directions to the nearest gym.

It's on www.10Radio.org and 105.3FM tonight (Sunday 27th July) at 10pm until midnight (or as late as I can manage)

Evening all...a message from beyond the Veil...sparks and bangs from the Electric Briefcase shall be showering and booming down upon the Ten Parishes and beyond tonight at exactly 10pm until midnight. Here's the forecast in full:

There will certainly be tracks from these lot:
Untold - Mr Maxted - John Baker (Radiophonic Workshop pioneer) - Forensics

There will no doubt be tracks from:
Martyn - Sickoakes - Xela - Escapee Planes

There will quite likely be tracks from:
Aleksi Perala - Threnody - Cinema Recorded Music Library

It's very unlikely there will be tracks from:
Slap Faced Annie & The Fish Gutter's Musk - unless someone requests something of course.

There will definitely not be tracks from:
any sources that in any way approximate the sickening sound of an expedition of carpet-fitters kneeing the corners of the local astro-turf pitch.

It's on www.10Radio.org and 105.3FM tonight (Sunday 24th August) at 10pm until midnight (or as late as I can manage)

Cordially yours,

There will certainly be tracks from these lot:
Deaf Center - Forensics - John Baker (Radiophonic Workshop pioneer) - DFRNT

There will no doubt be tracks from:
Xela - Goblin - 2562 - Martyn

There will quite likely be tracks from:
Marlow - Aleksi Perala - HATE Records

It's very unlikely there will be tracks from:
Calm Dennie Loveridge & The Mindless Chaotics - unless they happen to reform this afternoon and pop round the studio

There will definitely not be tracks from:
any sources that in any way approximate the sly sound of a gang of topiary enthusiasts on a casing expedition to the Eden Project.

It's on www.10Radio.org and 105.3FM tonight (Sunday 7th September) at 10pm until midnight (or as late as I can manage)

Evening all...a message from beyond the Veil...sparks and bangs and quite possibly wild rats from the Electric Briefcase will be dancing, and possibly scurrying, down upon the Ten Parishes and beyond tonight at exactly 10pm until midnight. Here's the slightly vague forecast in full:

There will certainly be tracks from these lot:
Static Caravan Records - Photek - Forensics - Shackleton

There will no doubt be tracks from:
Andy Stott - Piano Magic - Mordant Music

There will quite likely be tracks from:
Escapee Planes - Deaf Centre - 2562

It's very unlikely there will be tracks from:

There will definitely not be tracks from:
any sources that in any way approximate the unnatural sound of an errant motorcycle display team trying to gain entrance to the annual Sinclair C5 convention.
