Dubstep in a drum and bass night

Post by sybian » Sat Jun 24, 2006 1:07 pm

n00b question from me guys...

I am part of a dnb crew, quite open to other sound thought.Wich is great.
So,the next party i want to play (beside my dubby dnb set) a Dubstep set.

The question is..Should i play it at the beginning of the night?Or about at the end of the stuff? After heavy as fuk dnb?

to me would be great at 6 am,when the pressure has gone and them would enjoy a more "downtempo" enviroment...
Anyway... ;)

What you people think?

cheers.

I'd rather have hard stuff on the end then in the begginning, BUT some smoothe jungle to cool off before goin home does it as well. So go for it :)

I promote a couple dnb nights here in Pittsburgh. I have dropped dubstep a couple times in the first slot. Good way to introduce the sound to the audience (the 'burgh ain't quite ready for it yet :-/)
