Since when did this become a gaming forum

about different kinds of threads:

as much as there are eflirting threads, look at my picture threads, and gaming threads, I have to say that it seems the only time people really get involved in other types of threads are when there is a omg1337warz between people or its a question/answer type thread. there are a lot of really good discussions that happen on the forums but people don't get involved. i've had convos on everything from race/gender, the paranormal, the existence of time and its relation to us, the impending US election, as well as sex (expression and revelation), love, art, the best Indiana Jones flick, yadda yadda.

so its not like the threads aren't there... if you're not looking for them, or you skip them to see the threads with the most hits, you won't find them. besides, as much personal contention I have with explicit divulgence of sexual details, many people do seem to respond to them. and as much as people complain, there hasn't really been a cessation to pics of bare boobage and sexytalk. People like it.

this place is what you make it. I've managed to not usually talk about what I do in the bedroom and still have lots of really neat conversations that aren't just about gaming. I don't understand what other types of threads people want to see that they're just not seeing..*shrugs*

back to topic I thoroughly enjoy discussing FF and MGS (and let's be honest, these are hardly just ANY games) bit of a blast from the past and I think the reply count on both topics is justification enough for their existence. Its a nice break from sexytalk threads etc. for me too

Spot on. Lol @ complaining about the number of game threads.

Theres like 3 or something. It just so happens people want to come together and talk about their interests.. and some of those interests are games.. specific games in general..

What's the name for a place like this again...
