Ramadanman - Blimey (!)

Post by dq » Wed May 21, 2008 4:12 pm

Just saw that 'Blimey' is getting a release on Hessle, and I have to say this tune does it for me in a BIG WAY. Huge respect to Ramadanman for this slice of Photek-esque deepness. Been loving this one for a bit now and very glad to see it get a release on the superb Hessle! Out to Ramadabba for that one!

Heehee. Is this the Ni-Ten-Ichi-Ryu of dubstep, perhaps?

What I was tryin to say was:

Ramalamadingdong is smashin it right now. Every tun on that Hessle release is deep as you like. Not heard any new bits from him in a while though.

*glares menacingly in Ram's direction*

Post of the year? LOL...thats some funny shit right there.

All Rupert needs is a big bottle of Cristal and some ice swanging from his chest...

Oh yeah, and Blimey is the one. Definately one of the most strikingly original tunes atm.

We were playing Ruffage Sessions in the living room, and this tune came on, and both my GF and I came from other rooms and were like "WTF is this?" True story.

The Ni-Ten-Ichi-Ryu comparisons are probably going a bit far, but theres definately a touch of vintage photek in dem beats.

Blimey is huge.

Isn't that Burial next to Photek?
