OSR018 - Twitchy Droid Leg with Vex'd Remix Art

Post by cede » Sat Jun 24, 2006 11:24 am

So I am finishing up these labels this week and thought I would post the latest previews and see what you all thought....

:e: :i:
The final version of that Vex'd remix sounds pretty good, and the record should be available late August / early September time.

Clever should be posting some clips up here pretty soon. More than likely in this thread... :D

nice work, I love the hand-done colouring.

Have you had a go with the auto-trace feature in Illustrator 10? It can trace line drawings really well, then you can get those outlines vector poifect.

Or just leave it as it is, coz it's ace!

I did try auto-tracing a while back, but was not satisfied. I would end up having to spend too much time correcting some of the lines and curves. I hear that feature has had vast improvements in CS2, but have yet to try it out.

I tend to still use Streamline too for vectorizing. Its an old program but works pretty well if you figure out the custom preferences.

not dubstep but titonton's remix on the part one 12" is typically fantastic material from the ohio-man.

I mixed that tintonton remix with some dubstep tunes. Need to really mess with the pitch a bit, but its fun.
