the difference between my saying that and it happening to offend you, and someone deliberately going out of their way to wind someone else up is pretty obvious though isn't it.

can you turn that around into a positive connotation?

the pen that wrote those hateful words to me in my childhood and through out my life till now...and tomorrow...made me who I am.

I am a sensitive being...however...sensitive to that which is worth being sensitive about. A few comments on a forum do not need my emotions to be compromised...like i said I would rather...spit out a come back...or disregard it....

its so easy to do that online...more so than in live conversation.

seen. however lets say a man grows up to an amazing man, philanthropic, and very sweet, and creates a foundation that save thousands of children who need help.....all as a result of the helplessness he felt as a child when his mother's bf beat him day after day...

all the work he has done...

does it justify what was done to him?

if you have the opportunity to help someone, do you turn away and tell yourself that fighting through it will make them stronger? Or do you exercise compassion and help them then?

Negativity is not the sole catalyst for change. Some of the most positive shifts I've had in my life have been directly linked to unexpected acts of kindness. And I'd much rather be remembered for that than "I survived in spite of her". It will happen, sure. But I'd rather it more frequently happened like the former.

Or when shes antagonizing you (spelling on that bodmon word.) it comes quite easy to get on the front line and gun em down
