Can I get some feedback please on bass level

Post by substacja » Sun May 25, 2008 7:54 am

Can other producers please tell me what they think of my tracks. Im allways not shure about the amount of bass and how loud the hihats should be. At the moment i tend to set the level of the bas and kick the same but i would like to know what others think. Thanx.

When I mix down a tune the only things dominent in the tune are the bass and the sub for me. It might vary for you. Experiment and try and make your tune as abstract as possible. As people have strange ears, all our tunes are pointed out to sound like somebody elses, so try and differ your own style. Even sub patterns can do that.
