Dubstep & Graffiti

Post by relaks » Sun Jun 25, 2006 9:59 am

Whether or not this is the proper forum for this topic, I've noticed, first of all, that there seems to be a bit of a graffiti--dubstep crossover. Whether it's an album called tags and throwups, or threads dedicated to sticker bombing. And there seems to be a good amount of writers on here.

I thought maybe we could start a comprehensive thread; for pieces, dubstep related sticker bombing (dmzed et al.) and whatever other dubstep related shit on the street.

Let's show some stuff!

A certain person I know went to hit steel before DMZ North in Leeds and put up DMZ next to their piece... Got flicks but its not about using a camera flash in a guarded train yard at 3am therefore you cant see shit!

Would be sick to see a top to bottom whole car with the letters D M Z!

Big up all my Leeds writers TSH, KBG, NKA, TFA etc etc !

Large up!

let's see some photos!

I know there's plenty of dubstep writers, I went to fwd>> with my pal elk last year....

I'd like to see those fwd>> posters. And some more pieces. Since this is fast becoming a worldwide sound, let's see some worldwide graffiti!

Most of the crew involved in subtrac events in Toronto comes from a graffiti background.
Both Capro and I used to write back in our high school days but have since stopped bombing.
Now we just get crazy stupid when postering, like climbing scaffolding and billboards n shit. There are plans in the works to start stencil bombing soon too.
My little brother wrote a ton a graff back in the day but has since stopped as well.
He was arrested on mischief charges about 11 times over a 5 year span :|

Big up all the can heads worldwide.

Love Graff and always will; my Dj name was and still is my "tag" since "85"! Damn I'm old; so what, just "KEEP DUB ALIVE." :!:
All my favorite songs end in "version"
