What was the night like? How did Mala's set go down?

I had to pass..my sister's bloke got taken to hospital as he was vomiting blood (got released later so not too serious) so I stayed in Manc instead..hopefully it was good, and more dubstep will be booked in the future and circumstances won't be against me next time!

It was the seriously the best night I have been to all year in Leeds. Malas set went down absolutely sick everyone in the room was feeling the sounds and people were bawling for rewinds and everything. Look out for more big Dubstep acts at Sub Dub trust me its going to get grim up North!

Big shout to Mala, Coki & Pokes for making the journey up and shout to everyone who represented down there, your time!

Reespek.

P.S - Its just the beginning, trust me

That picture at the bottom is one of the speaker stacks in the main room. Look how tall it is! Pure beast!

the best night i've ever been to in leeds. It was absolutely rammed, people were going crazy to dubstep - first time I've ever seen that here. The sound system was HUGE, the tunes were equally HUGE, and Mala's dreads were looking pristine as ever. :D

It was a heavy night. The Sub Dub soundsystem absolutely kills. Would be wicked to hear some dubstep on the system in the main room. It was sick seeing so many ppl digging DMZ even though they blatantly hadn't heard much dubstep before. This is definitely just the beginning.

I actually thought the sound in the second room was far better than the first room on Saturday. It really was on fire!

And did Simon Scott really say that? :D :D :D

Up North they run tingz proper. Simon your a Don. It was cuttin outside....cold... Big up everyone that made an effort to come and meditate. I can't wait to go back!

The Irration Sound System in Rm 1 is nothing like you have heard before. Nothing but pure weight.. In a lower ceiling room you'd go deaf. No joke.

Massive shout to Earthpipe and his Sweet Potato Sound System.... (You dealt with it dread). Big up everyone that stayed when "Officer" took out the system for about 10 minutes half way into my set... I think a fuse blew...the lights and everything went out....It was funny! Everyone got a breather, no-one left the room and we carried on skankin...!

Love Leeds, Love Sub Dub.

Give Thanks.

Big up mate, was a pleasure to have you up and we will have a repeat journey some where in the near future Im more than sure! First time I have seen the system in the backroom blow but Im happy it was caused by a big tune such as Officer! haha.

Lastnight I was on the phone talking to the next Dubstep act we have our sights set on to come damage Sub Dub and he is on it! Trust me you people will NOT be dissapointed! The person in question gave me confirmation that they want to play so watch this space and if you already know keep it hush hush

Massive shout goes out to Simon Scott for having faith in me and the music I love and support, I told you it would work! Thanks for giving me a platform to work the sounds from. I remember the first time I gave him a Dubstep CD and he wasnt having it. Now he sits in the shop all day rinsing out Dubstep :D Big Up Uncle Si!

Finally massive MASSIVE shout to everyone who made the trip down, without you people supporting the sounds and scene here/there non of this would of been possible. Thank you, you know who you are.

Respect.
