ergh...
if its not bad enough that all my decks and amp n speakers n all are in storage and i'm now crashing in a box at my mum's for a few months in between homes... she just came in and said very excitedly:

"ooohhh, you know what i picked up yesterday for you and I've been worried about it all week?! I couldnt find one anywhere in the shops and then thought - where would have one? Mothercare of course! I cant believe i didnt think of it before now. And it's so funky too - you'll love it"

At this point, she dragged me (filled with trepidation) by the arm to the bathroom to proudly display a brand new, bright blue, baby's shower mat of all things.

Apparently she's been worried that i would fall over in the shower while she was away on holiday next week

I am 30 years old..... it's very sweet of her i know, but i am frigging 30 years old!

^^ it happens to the best of us. My mother did the exact same thing a few months ago. Yes, yes, a shower mat.... and you know what? Baby blue as well.. well, transparant royal blue i guess.
