I used to read FM but now I read CM, it has a lot of nice stuff in there and I enjoy reading the mag, has some great samples, videos, software, and tutorials of the DVD too.
Reach for the lasers, save as fuck.

CM always has easy tutorials and is formatted for bitesize learning.

FM comes with better interviews and feature articles.

Read both, then read Sound on Sound ;)

Oh yeah, Music Tech is alright I think it's a cross between CM & SOS... sort of.

I've been in Computer Music the last 4 weeks, so that. I also suscribe because i't's alot easier to pick up the basics and stuff from the tutorials etc... Plus 8gb Samples :D

Sound on sound is mainly full of £1,000 plus high end recording gear reviews and story's of rock bands making shit albums on limitless budgets.
