actually i think i know what you want.
You really should stop thinking you know what others want when you really don't. Chances are you'd be wrong. Do you think Iraqis want Americans out of their country ?

well, honestly i think that is as much a platitude as anything our feckless threadstarter has said thus far.
the idea that simple individualism will solve the world's problems is actually too simplistic as well. while it does take individuals finding their power, it does nothing in the long run until some kind of collective action is taken.
usually it results in self-indulgence and people so hellbound on doing their own thing that they can't see past the nose on their face. which actually sounds a lot like the president of the US.

exactly so dont be self indulgent, just maintain balance within ur self and that comes from looking after urself, eating the right food, relaxing and doing what u want to do when u want to do it, zen style

Do you ever stop to comprehend what others have written before spouting your inane drivel ?
So again i ask of the sapphic beast. Shall i martyr myself for you ? Are you willing to die for your cause or just talk smack online to a dubby beat ?

interesting that. since you've made a habit of judging others from the very first post in this thread. are you really asking me what i think about iraq or are you trying to divert my points by pushing the focus off of yourself right now?

and again, you have given me NO reason to justify myself, my politics, or my existence to you besides simplistic attacks and platitudes.
you don't know anything about me. those who do, know EXACTLY what i have been willing to do to stand up for my conscience.
i don't need to talk about how dedicated i am to "the cause" on an internet forum to prove my revolutionary worth to you. i didn't get into this discussion for my ego.
oh and p.s. "talking smack". really. cuz that's TOTALLY what i have done throughout this "conversation". you really know how to win people over don't you?

Aww sappho you're such a cock tease. Sure you entered this for your ego. Its not just me. The world waits with baited breath upon your every utterance. You cant copout now. They're simple enough questions. Answer them and maybe I'll answer yours.

of course. if i simply answer your questions, suddenly all will be well and you will stop your asinine game of insults to share with me your solutions for the world's ills and your alleged commitment to said solutions. mmmhmmmm...sure. a "who's more dedicated" internet shootout really sounds like a worthwhile pursuit. seriously, are we fucking twelve?
if you can't tell that we are on the same side on the iraq war issue by reading what i said in the first place, then you really are even dumber than i thought, besides being a self-important, patronizing, egotistical jerk.
"sapphic beast". "cock tease". this is the sensitive mind of "spicerack" at work. you care oh so much about the ills of the world. i can really tell. you spout about the poor iraqis, while spilling sexist sludge out the other side of your face. classy.
i am done with you.

sapphic, yr 1st, long, post was totally on point, but at the same time didnt touch on one key issue, i.e: we are ALL to blame for this shit.
its easy to mouth of and rant and complain, especially for us in Europe. Its like we need the US as a bad guy we can blame the worlds ills on, while at the very same time enjoying all the material benefits the US government's actions bring to us all in the West. We love to hate Americans, but we aint willing to give up on the luxuries and way of life the neo-con agenda brings us.
and this really disgusts me more than anything.
aleks zen, the idea of starting to make a change closer to home before kicking off with others is no doubt a good one , but what u seem 2b proposing as yr philosophy 4life appears 2b little more than infantile egotism. not helpful

Any takers?
