I'm from the Midwest, but I've been in Berlin for about a half a year now. We managed to get a few things going in Chicago, but I'm not sure what's been going on since I left.
I know there's a lot of interest there, though, they just need somebody to harness it and turn it into something.

I'm in Chicago.... these days I have to go to the east coast to get my dub fix...
for years we've had a strong hardcore jungle/d'n'b scene that hasn't embraced dubstep.... and that's about to change.
Damn! My first introduction to jungle was in the mid-90's at a weekly show called
The Dragon Dub Sound System... it all comes full circle
BIG UP! TO ALL THE CHICAGO MASSIVE AND ALL YOUSE IN THE SURROUNDING AREAS!! YEP! YEP!
If your chest ain't rattlin'... it ain't happenin'

I've been lobbying for a while on Chicago's main d'n'b promotion site to get some dubstep nights in town.... if you are interested, get on it too!!!!
