not sure if im posting in the wrong part of the forum apologies if i am.
just picked up two second hand 1210's and one of the decks wont play through my right speaker?
tried swapping them over and still is happening. have checked my cartridges and swapped them but no luck. the other deck is playing fine in both channels.
not really sure what to do? could order a new cable and try to fit it but dont want to waste my time and money.
should i take it in for a service?
any help would be appreciated.

have you tried changing the two channels on the mixer ie trying the "broken" deck in the other mixer port?
If that doesn't work and you've tried everything else, best to get on the fiddly work
- sounds like a pure phono RCA leads replacement job but you can never really tell until you've tried that anyway.
Have a look at this thread for more info- i posted laods of links on the thread that will help you out if you want to do the RCA replacement yourself:
