SMH the demo aint all that IMO.

You get to use the unique Nectar system, which works really well actually.. but its FAR too short.

Also, apparently this demo is an older build, so the graphics should look as good as recently documented.

4 player CO-OP mode looks promising, as the demo is far too short. Feels like a generic FPS so far..

The only notable off that list is MGS4

then you have the Motorstorm and Resistance sequels as well, will be interesting to see where they take those.

I have yet to play Haze..the co-op looks good on it, can play 4 players at the same time the last I read.

So I have got a interview for a job and got about.. 80% chance of getting it due to a few family members work there...

Thinking of getting a PS3 as my first major purchase! Either way I want a PS3 not a Xbrickringofdeath360..

Wheres the best place to buy at the moment, price and package wise..

40gb or 60gb?

Obviously a nice 1080p HD TV will be the next major purchase so i'll be buying a PS3 for a future set up..

Price isn't THAT much of a issue due to I'll just save up for it so opinions please!

Games ain't really a issue due to I have a few in mind already. GTA4 being the main culprit but had my eye on Warhawk since it came out and Tomb-raider type one (forget the name), Haze and MGS4 when it drops.

Oh also it'll be a cash - shop purchase its gunna take my bank about.. 4389284239 light years to change my bank account from ATM only to a chip and pin..

ok for films, i have a ps3 and ive not even got any movies, seeing as its been out 2 years and blue ray is 3% of films sold.
also ps3 (and xbox360) have upscaled to 1080p. the games are nativley running at far lower resolutions.

Well hopefully in 6 months i'll be in my own place, thats the plan anyways so its kinda gunna be for the flat innit but for now its just gunna be for a PS3 and DvD yeah..

Only a week to go till you lot get your hands on smash bros. So, who's makin the purchase??

What're peeps playin at the mo? I'm still bangin up smash, clocked up about 50hrs so far but haven't been gettin enough training in against real people. Gone are the 4 player sessions of yesteryear where people would go round eachothers yards simply for the pleasure of multiplayer, everyone seems to conduct their business online now which is a shame.

It’s great, been hammering it for the last week. There are some camera issues (as reported) but so far it hasn’t been bad enough to spoil my enjoyment of hacking off a fiends limbs, piece by piece

. It is so good I’ve basically dropped GTAIV for the time being.

NG2 is one of the few games I want that is a 360 exclusive. Actually, maybe the only one. I've got Sigma on the PS3, so hopefully they release NG2 in due time. I can wait. It's norrrrfin.

Yeah man, that's what's been said in the reviews I've read too. So in your opinion it's not a fatal flaw then? The review I read in Games TM suggested that Devil May Cry 4 is a better game, but the camera issues in that really pissed me off.

To be honest, I’ve never really been a DMC fan..I think I finished one of them, but I hammered the last Ninja Gaiden game, and this one is even better. I played the demos of both, but found the DMC4 to be dull, whereas I loved the NG2 one.

Let’s be honest, the camera in many games is not good and when the action is as fast and frenetic in a game such as NG2 there are always going to be tracking issues, I’ve found it not to be as bad as reported, really it has been the only real flaw they have picked out so it has garnered more coverage than it probably fair (although the fanboys find the health regeneration after fights and the increased power of the flying swallow bigger flaws).

got a megadrive recently. been playing lots of streets of rage 2, road rash 2, desert strike, evander holyfield's heavyweight boxing

, and a bit of micro machines.

i still can't find metal gear solid twin snakes or twilight princess for less than £40 on the gamecube. its pissing me off
