i have this. i'm kind of steeling myself to watch it after a mini review my mate gave it (i.e. "that film's fucked", which, coming from him and knowing his taste in films, is saying something). Banned in Oz according to Wiki...

I started watching Planet Terror last night and had to turn it off - I really did not know why I was watching it.

The only redeeming factor in that movie was the retro treatment in regards to the cinematography.

..come on people..you are living for gratuitous head explosions?

weak ass hattery.

Testicle-collecting badman

Naveen andrews absolutely made that film, well... him and the strippers and zombies.

Finally saw batman begins, excited about the sequel now.

Kind of in the mood for blockbuster films at the moment, not sure why[/img]

I watched Sweeney Todd on Friday. Twas a good film. Once I got over my 'it's a musical, musicals are all shit' attitude, I really enjoyed it. A pretty dark story, very well done.

I fucking hate musicals. Sweeny Todd is a good story but I can not imagine this ever doing it just. Was an older version with Ray Winston (think thats the blokes name, tho prob wrong as I am shit when it comes to 'celebraties'). That was good.

I could not bring myself to watch this latest one, musicals bring all kinds of negativity to my head.

I think I'll skip it all the same. I honestly cannot think of a musical that I have enjoyed. only time is acceptable is in cartoons, and even then it makes me wonder why they bother. breaking out into song just completely seperates me from the film

yeah ken park is fucked, well dodgy film. i don't really like it though, too perverted in a straight unpleasant way. not even in a funny way like miike takeshi's stuff. in ken park they play ''put a curse on you'' by quasimoto, but its the ONLY tune that isn't credited at the end :? which is a bit strange. top hip hop sounds in that film though, kmd, alkaholics, quas, and some other good shit i've forgotten...haven't seen it for ages, and don't want to.

i thought death proof was way above planet terror. planet terror was funny as fuck in its own way, but i think tarantino put a lot more thought into death proof than rodriguez did for his film. half the death proof script is cemented together with ''motherfucker'' and ''bitch ass motherfucker'' but its still a great film! most of the script is brilliant though, which is what i like most about tarantino films anyway.

can anyone help me ID this film? i saw it when i was about 7, really hard to remember. i can only remember one scene, that might be all i saw of it.
some dude in a wheelchair is at the top of some stairs in a house, and some kid throws a basketball at him, which results in said invalid falling down the stairs in a brutal way. there's lots of dark violence from what i can remember. reminds me of abel ferrara or something? any ideas? vague description i know
