i think its great

wonky bonky beats, abstract grooves.

warm basslines, not much midrange crap which is good

nice melodies/synth sounds

big album

ThinKing wrote:'dubbed out' to me doesn't = reggae, it means, lots of space, mad one-off FX/delay/reverb and shit. Think King Tubby, Lee Perry, Scientist etc...

In that respect I think of Pinch, RSD, Mala, Peverelist (mostly his new dubplates), 2562....
This Comment by ThinKing hits the nail on the head,
+ sums up why i think this is the best dubstep album to come out in ages.

After the three 2562 12" 's on tectonic,
+ his remix on Ramp + his A Made Up Sound stuff,
I was exspecting something realy minimal techno / garage style.
I was absolutly gobsmaked when it turned out to be really duby.

Rubbish ? your haveing a laugh.
Dave Huismans is a inovative, multiface producer,
Strong contender for LP of 2008 contender !

On a few listens, I prob agree with Blackdown's critique. It's good, but not as good as I'd hoped.

bear in mind that 2562 as an album is the lp + his other tectonic releases (kameleon, channel one/two, circulate, techno dread, and enforces).

listening this through at the moment, just got the lp today. some wicked tunes on there (moog dub & the times in particular).

Not @ all,
Channel One + Circulate are not on the CD or LP,
LP also comes with 2 extra tracks not on the cd: Theorem + Walkover.

Even considering these tracks being included on the cd (moog dub, kameleon, channel two, techno dread, enforces, and movern)
i still think the more dubed out stuff (Theorem + Redux etc)
make Aerial pleasent suprise.

Sick album from start to finish. A lot of different styles on there but still sticking to the techno(ish) vibe. 2562 is on it right now, he's got a groove that not many other people have been able to pull off. Shame you don't like it really

there is a big difference by saying u don't like it and start a poll with such an aggressive title of thread
