yanno, there are dubstep tunes that don't particularly do it for me, but i don't necessarily consider them rubbish.

different strokes for different folks. i happen to think 2562 is the best thing since sliced bread, but there are bound to be folks that don't agree with me.

as someone once said to me, it's all just soundwaves bouncing off of different people's eardrums. how you perceive those soundwaves depends on what influenced you or how those sounds resonate on an emotional level with each individual.
Here, have a free tune:

It's your opinion and i do respect that! Mine its... Aerial is one of the best albums i've heard this year.

Greyscale is utterly amazing, great work! Love this tune... :)
Suddenly, there was a terrible roar all around us, and the sky was full with what looked like huge bats, all swooping and screeching and diving around the car, and a voice was screaming:
Holy Jesus. What are these goddamn animals?

I love it...I think it's an album that's best 'experienced' rather than listened to or scrutinised for melodies, if you know what I mean.

i can understand why you might not like it. it's only musical taste after all.

the vinyl tracklist is much more complete than the cd. dropped the previously released more "upbeat" tunes and instead put in some slick techy dub that makes me smile. as an album I'd say it's far above and beyond many other dubstep releases that have gained much empty hype.

just play it on a proper system and sit down with a rum and coke. you'll get it....

OK, so it's OK

OK, I originally posted this item. Since then, this album has grown on my quite a lot, so I don't think it's rubbish anymore. HOWEVER, I still think there is something fundamentally flawed with the first track on the album. I think the main dubby pad sound thing that comes in is completely out of time. Seriously. It makes me wonder whether I have got a dodgy copy in which the tracks are not aligned properly, but how could that be? Seriously, there is something wrong with the first track; it doesn't work rhythmically!

Possibly the most sensible thing that's come out of this thread, truth be told.

As Grooverider might say "Give the haters a hug!"
