Also if anyone doesnt know - E4 are launching a new digital music station for young people, which i have a test month on in the summer, so fingers crossed i can bring some dubstep to the station permanantly!
I come across you're Sessions Podcast the other day, to be honest i thought it would be a bit crap. But i gotta say you pulled off some crisp mixes, i really enjoyed listening to it. For real most mixes was bang on, so big up you girly. My ex used to have a mix with me and i gotta say she was quite good, but she would spend like the whole tune with pull ups just to get the mix in. I used to be like come on girl your taking for ever hurry up, but she wouldn't bring it in unless it sounded really good. Where as i and like most other male djs aint to bothered if i clang abit especialy at home. Its strange coz another girl i taught to mix used to do the same thing take years to bring the mix in, n ye i do think girls can deff concentrate harder/longer/better then boys lol, but sorry to say i still think us men are the better djs. Saying that i would much rather see a sexy girly djing rather then a bloke any day of the week. So come on the girls

wow, you manage to be as insulting as possible with this one, dontcha? not only are men better djs, but the value that women djs have is because they are "sexy"? way to step in it.

It's cool, if you knew me then you would know i'm allways joking. Better to laugh then cry as some1 once said. On a serious note tho i would like to see more female djs sexy or not. Would love to be with a girl who loved music as much as me if not more, n if she can mix then sweet :D

beg to differ.

i know its emasculating and all to be unable to compare cock size with your fellow DJ due to vajay-jay-ness, but if you think about it,

were it about the music first and foremost, it's unlikely your blind ears would be able to make such a distinction.

with the exception maybe of Christine Vaccine, who's got over half a million downloads on her BADASS mix, which I still listen to pretty regularly, because it's that good and I don't even have to carry a picture of her around to remind me how sexy she is in order to enjoy it.

good DJing is good DJing.

Out to Kozee, Vaccine, Ikonika and any others I've not mentioned for braving such a male-dominated arena regardless of who's threatened by you, regardless of the few small minds who write your skills off for being female- because you love the music THAT MUCH. Can't/ won't stop.

Sometimes this site just seems to be a big boys club, that's all. (with the exception of the occasional visitation by the one and only M.A. Hobbs, of course!)

Any producers out there, either?

ok. lemme ask this to any of the wimmin who have dj'd multiple genres and have a bit of experience playing out:

do you find you have to put up with more or less macho bs posturing from male dj's/audience in the dubstep scene as a female dj when compared to other genres?
