bro you should see the video footage of that shit, it is so fucking funny.

i can't say thanks enough to everyone for last night. to those of you who recognised me, introduced yourselves, and basically made me feel at home so quickly, big up!

it was great to finally link you guys and check the dance. out to my girl kozee! mala, pokes, deapoh, quest, silkie, skipple, grandal, markle, the two bros at the after party (sorry i can't remember your names!) and your mate with the stripey tee (you were jokes!) badger, dubluke, georgie, sinc vision, ashley... and to anyone else i've forgotten, i'll see you again soon no doubt!

everybody killed it in my opinion last night. like someone has mentioned already, the diversity of the sets was striking and made every moment of the party enjoyable and unique. DMZ smacked it of course - really good to hear loefah coming with some proper different beats, and quest & silkie.... oh my!! those boys are on something else. oneman and appleblim's sets were heavy as well.... i was in bass heaven last night.

so ... play fights, random wandering down back streets and messy after parties - seems some things are consistent wherever you are in the world.
Sorry if your legs got wet when I dropped my drink THREE TIMES in the space of like 10 seconds..

I vow never to booze again...

Damn £5 minimum charge on chip and pin so had to buy two cans every time! Wasted...seriously regretting it now.

From what I remember it was a good night. Thanks to everyone who showed their support by helping me in my hour of need hahaha. Large up Cluekid!

p.s. Anyone happen to spot a yellow IKEA branded oyster card holder containing my Oyster Card, Bank Card and Driving License?

I think this picture explains ashleys "hour of need".

Apologies to everyone who saw me arrive in flipflops at 3.30am and carrying out a drunken mess!

I'm barely alive at work right now, the Eurostar ride back was dreadful and my bank account has gone in red again but it was all worth it!

Out to everyone I met ...

Right, still not up to a full scale run down. But suffice to say that for me that was the best dmz in a looong time! In fact (while i have missed a few since then...) I havent enjoyed one quite as much since the 2nd bday I dont think! Everything about it was just too good

Gonna have to get one question in here though. What the FUDGE was that tune D1 played?!!! Must have been his 2nd/3rd or something, and it had this obscene bassline that was all over the shot, till the 3/4th bar in each repeat where it just became this incredibly deep "whump" noise. Too fucking much, I was off...

Oh, and midnight is still incredible aye! Big up oneman, amazing set. Mixing was unreal.

I might have to go shit another bed now...

Rah, fucking missions but what a heavy night, best vibes I've experienced there for a while now.

It is about:
-2l bottle of whisky and coke on the bus got things off to a good start
-Last 45mins of DMZ, meditation shit.
-Quest and Silkie killed it with so many tunes, from deep stuff to the more bouncey shit it was a great set, full of tunes you want to skank to, not tunes you feel compelled to by their sheer ferocity. Oh and broken heart rmx will NEVER get old, big up them two.
-Oneman, great to see him with a nr prime set time, badboy mixture of rhythms and flava's, 8bar grime, garage, classic 'step, oh yeah Agent X - Decoy boop.
-Appleblim wished I had caught more than just the last half hour but was outside chatting pier shittington to (un)willing 'versationists. Sub, breaks, good vibes perfect end.
-Pier more shittington chatting to corpsey, blooksta, badge et al on the green out front till 7am (safe for the rollies blook, nice to meet u propa! haha) oh and Ben UFO nice to meet you mate, well done for tolerating the verbal barrage for a while.
-Walking around Victoria station with el and melson at 8am and finding endless jokes out of normality.

NOT about:
-Feeling all healthy sat afternoon and going for a run and SPRAINING MY FUCKING ANKLE, Ive run the same route hundreds of times in the past couple of years and never injured myself, rahh I was fucking pissed off BUT I still made it in the end and skanked out (for better or worse).
-Staying on the green chatting till 7am or fannying about at Victoria station for an hour, both of which led to:
-Getting the bus just 8.45 or so and arriving back in oxfd at five to ten. No money for a taxi and not the wits to consider the bus meant we hobbled from headington to the temple cowley centre and it took a fucking hour and a half (shankle my ankle) in the pissing rain
-Walking in to my mates' house at 11.30 after 1/2hr kip, soaked, and carrying a bunch of flowers that I had picked from various gardens along the way and placed in an empty sunny d bottle 'vase', to find elbe's housemates up and watching tv, eugh casualties.

Fucking glad I had the good sense to get today off, got in to bed last night after 1 1/2hrs sleep since sat morning and didn't have to consider work, or getting up.

True- there's some tunes about in dubstep at the moment which remind me of going to techno nights in Nottingham until 6 in the morning and from the hour of 5 until 6 everyone compulsively dancing, squeezing the last drop out of their speedy pills. At least that was my perception of it.

Hahah. We got about an hours sleep at my mates and then decided to journey out about midday. Felt okay actually to my surprise. God bless green for alleviating my drinking budget.

Yeah I felt better than I expected yesterday, managed to go see one of my mates' bands play at Cowley Road Carnival after party, mind you couldn't stomach the actual carnival itself.

I was outside occasionally for a spliff but the quality of the music/lineup meant I couldn't do that as often as I would have liked.

It seems like the better the music the less I see of people lol

Ahh...figured that was prolly you lot on the lawn but I was too zonked out/tired/shy/wasted/insertwordofchoice to make my way over from the remarkably comfy patch of lawn a few metres away that I collapsed on for a bit.

Jesus.
That was life changing.
I am seriously considering coming to live in London now.
The vibes in DMZ & Loefah, just absolutely incredible and such a contrast to Fabric the night before. Absolutely blew me away.
Out to Silkie who I was speaking to for a bit on the stairs, I thought he was Coki at first  , shows how shit we got it up here.
I knew the night was gonna be special when we got in about 10.20pm and walked up the stairs to find Mala bouncing past us and gave us a 'evening boys'. Brilliant brilliant night
