made it down for my first dmz, so was one of the ultra early crew. Having heard it gets rammed I didn't want to travel all the way down from Liverpool to find I couldn't get in.

I'm sure the staircase funnels the bass to me it felt louder on the stairs than in the room.

Anyway I was surprised to see quite a few from my usual when I'm in londom crew in so I ended hanging around with them though big up to the bristol crew who took me under their wings while we were hanging around outside, all but one of whom I've fogotten the names of. I am rubbish with names I know, I'm even worse when there's two names per person to contend with.

Anyway dispite hearing it get rammed it wasn't too rammed which was good cos it meant there was always rooom somewhere to have a dance if you felt like it and there was pretty much always somewhere to have a sit if you felt like it too.

Music wise, Benga was great, mainly because he played almost all stuff I've not heard, or at least didn't recognise.
Younsta and N-Type were seriously heavy.
then it get a bit hazy
At the end distance and vex'd brought the show to what felt like an early end conclusion, as someone else said it could have gone on to 7 and beyond.

great night, mala and loefah killed it, some nice little flourishes from vex'd in the 5am slot too - i think it's pretty much mandatory to play 'in the place' or some other grime party tune just when dubstep zombiedom is kicking in.

and obviously me love it feat. warrior queen is tune of the moment right about now.

a few hackett-top wearing lairy twats but generally the usual friendly vibe.

out to boomnoise, john, letty and unlikely for keeping me going when i was flagging and my crew had mostly left at 4am. what a weekend!

what a heavy party, FWD @ The End and DMZ were the start and finish of my summer holidays, so I'm back at work now and feel like sh*te. :(

Firstly, thanks for less REWINDS!! I swear nearly every tune at The End during Mala's set got rewound, so it was nice to have a bit of flow to the sets this time round.

Security was propa this time round. The situation was sort of understandable at the last party cos of the Fridge gettin busted and all that, but it's good to see that there still hasn't been on ounce of trouble at any dubstep parties yet (that I've seen/heard of). :D

Set of the nite had to be Typos vs Yunx with Task on tha mic - good to see him doin more parties. Cockney Violin!!

2nd place to Chef & Benga - those new Benga bits soundin fresh, especially the last couple of tunes.

In fact some mental new tunes dropped all over the place, that Vex'd remix of Fallen, Loefah and Skream (!) remixes of Punisher, that grime tune Jamie Vex'd played with the fuckoff great sub. Coulda done without hearing that Richie Spice 6 times in one nite, but I guess people jus like droppin it lol.

System was soundin pretty sweet too, not totally bananas but crispier than 95% of other clubs so who's complaining?

Shouts to all I bumped into, intentionally or otherwise. Seeya next time. :D

this night was slammin!
the atmosphere this time was propa nice up.. sadly didnt meet anyone new but i probably stood on most of yr toes while i was flailin about!
like said, the security was reet mellow and evryone smakked it hard.. im lovin the dmz rave vibe at the moment!
tbh i didnt actually notice any tunes bein played more than once, i used to hate that sorta ting at jungle nights, but then im gettin old and cant remember things no more..
