Any chance of DMZ represses?
it doesn't have to be an elitist thing in any way to want to have every release on a certain label that you love. its not something exclusive to vinyl here, think about it, if you have most releases of a certain label on mp3 and theres one you don't have, then you are gonna want that one you don't have to complete the set. for example, i know that personally i don't want the other releases on motor city electro company that i don't have because it makes me in any way better than my peers; fuck, most of them don't even like ghetto tech. i want them because it is nice to have the full set, because they are all of a similar standard, and because if i do mix, either for my self (usually) or for other people at free parties or whatever (ocassionally) it is nice to have a choice to play what tunes i feel like from a label at that time. it is essentially for my own satisfaction to have most or all of the records on a certain label, whether that be on vinyl, mp3 or whatever. now i wouldn't pay £77 for dmz002 because i have final scratch and mp3 is enough there if i really want to play it in a mix or whatever. even though i think vinyl does sound better its not worth that money for me. but if i had enough money to spare, and i had all the releases on dmz bar one or two, then i probably consider paying that kind of money because it's all relative.

Mate of mine found dmz 002 and 003 in a local record fair (almost like a car boot sale) for 9 and 6 pounds respectively i think.

DMZ is repressing relases frequently, but I think it tends to be more recent records where there is obvious, high volume demand - and where the tunes repesent their current sound.
Bear in mind that there is not much profit in 1000 units of vinyl, but there IS a lot of work and hassle involved. And that time and hassle could be spent getting a NEW tune out. It's a choice...

When a DMZ album or a "Dubstep Classics" compilation gets released, Horror Show will be in there. That will give people a chance to play the music out on vinyl. The tunes are available for download, so democracy is upheld.
Those who were there from the beginning can polish their original 12" and dream about what their investment could bring if they hang on... maybe a villa in Miami? A pad in Canary Wharf with £10.000 entertainment system? Or should they sell now before the Dubstep market crashes?
What abut, instead of re-pressing 500 copies and selling them for £5, they press 100 and sell them on ebay at £50 - £70 quid? That's a good skam.
